Avengers: Endgame - Mysteries Answered
Wrapping up 10 years of mysteries ain't easy, but Endgame pulled it off.
Avengers: Endgame had an unenviable job. Not only did it have to follow on and somehow better Infinity War, which ended on the biggest cliffhanger cinema may potentially ever see, but it also had to serve as the culmination of over 10 years' worth of story and over 20 movies, offering endings and new beginnings for some of the most iconic characters in recent memory.
Inside all of that, however, were the answers it needed to provide not only from the previous Avengers movie, but from plot threads which have been left hanging for years in the MCU. There were a bunch of mysteries that fans had spent so long picking apart going into Endgame that needed to live up to the lofty expectations and wild theories that had been conjured up (and, in doing so, avoid the kind of backlash that soured the release of The Last Jedi).
Fortunately for us, the Russo Brothers didn't shy away from taking that challenge head on and embraced a whole bunch of these mysteries - a lot of which they answered immediately in the first act - with such confidence, unveiling revelations that will shape the MCU going forward.
