The teams have been sorted, the battle lines drawn, and the countdown to war is on. In just under 50 days we'll be witnessing an event 10 years in the making, the culmination of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe up to this point: Avengers: Infinity War.

After 18 movies, this is - in a sense - the beginning of the end, which will more properly arrive when the credits roll on next year's Avengers 4. The battle with Thanos, teased since 2012's The Avengers, is coming to a head, with the search for the Infinity Stones becoming a desperate battle for the survival of the entire universe.

Naturally, then, Marvel have been keeping relatively quiet about the whole thing. There's been a veil of secrecy over much of the film, and even the marketing has been toned down a degree, with just one teaser trailer thus far. That's about to change as we get closer to release (a new trailer is expected any day now), and to further hype up the movie (as if it needs the needs the help) Entertainment Weekly have a big cover story on it. There are no spoilers, obviously, but there are some new reveals and juicy details to whet appetites for the real deal.10.
