The Avengers: Infinity War cast is swelling even further. Though it would make sense that his character would die in the forthcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2, Michael Rooker has seemingly just confirmed that he's going to be appearing in the next Avengers movie.
The Walking Dead star posted to his Instagram account, showing him grabbing coffee in a brand new Infinity War beanie, which seems to be being given out to stars. Unless it's all misdirection of course.
That would presumably mean that all of the Guardians are coming in for Infinity War.
Honestly, it's something of a shame: if this is confirmation of the entire Guardians crew's involvement, it means that none of them are going to be under too much threat in the sequel, which robs some of that film's drama before it's even hit cinemas. But then, maybe that's exactly what Marvel want us to think, because Yondu's death in Vol 2 would be the perfect culmination of his arc.
Let's just hope he's got enough to do in Infinity War to warrant inclusion.
