Avengers: Infinity War - Predicting The Fate Of Every Avenger

If Hawkeye is a character that will pose Thanos no physical threat, then Wanda Maximoff is a character that could cause some serious headaches for the Mad Titan.

She'll be able to use her magic to manipulate objects and people around her, propelling her fellow Avengers into the air or stopping a projectile midway through its descent.

Her relationship with Vision and allegiance to Team Cap should make for an interesting storyline as Infinity War develops, but when the battle begins, we expect Wanda to be a key player in helping take down Thanos.

What Will Happen To Her? By the end of the movie, Wanda and Vision will officially be an item - that's if they aren't already (leaked set images have shown them embracing, but this could be late in the story).

Because of her romantic entanglement with him, we think she'll watch/be forced to watch Thanos rip the Mind Stone from Vision's forehead. This will be a deeply affecting moment for the character (and the audience), and will cause her to go mad with rage.

And, when Wanda became really, really angry in the comics, she literally remade reality in her father's (Magneto) image. In Infinity War, however, she'll change reality and resurrect her dead brother, Quicksilver, whose return has been rumoured for quite some time.

The end of Infinity War will see the siblings be reunited, and the Avengers will have gained an extra hero to utilise in the next movie.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for over ten years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too. If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order, or to give you a random factoid about the making of Gridlock, Danny is the person to ask!
