Ten years in the making, Avengers: Infinity War is a cinematic event like none other so far. It is set to tie together narrative strands from almost twenty films with wildly different characters and their own huge stakes, and the idea that The Russos will somehow balance all of that, a new Thanos-centric story and even more new characters is nothing to be sniffed at.
This is the kind of project that breaks directors and it's stunning to think that they're doing it all over again with Avengers 4.
But before that film and its promises of changing the entire MCU as we know it, we have the small matter of Infinity War and it's stunning action, massive anticipated emotional stakes and unprecedented spectacle. And Disney have released a second teaser for the film ahead of its release, using the Super Bowl as the perfect opportunity to briefly showcase their own clash of the titans.
And while it was short, there were some pretty big revelations in there.
So, what did we learn?
A particularly exciting part of Avengers: Infinity War is seeing which of the new heroes will interact with one another and how the Avengers and the Guardians Of The Galaxy will interact.
Particularly intriguing is the dynamic between Iron Man and Doctor Strange - the presumably outgoing leader of the Avengers and his tailor-made replacement (unless Marvel go with Captain Marvel as a more surprise choice). The trailer reveals that we'll see that dynamic explored in at least two places (following on from the first trailer).
Not only will the pair meet in New York, but they'll also seemingly head into space on board the ship that invades New York at some stage.
