Batman V Superman FINALLY Has A Good Trailer

Why didn't they lead with this one?

Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice's marketing campaign has, in the nicest possible way, not been great. I've made no secret of my apathy towards the film and each bit of newly released footage has only seemed to reaffirm my fears this will be a repeat of Man Of Steel's issues while also desperately trying to catch up with Marvel. And then, with the Final Trailer, the one everyone expected to give away whatever minor secrets remained, they finally got it right. What we have, finally, is a look at Batman V Superman as more than just a concept; the motivations of the key participants are all clearly laid out and the fight is presented not as a gladiator match, but an ideological confrontation. It's really quite good, even with the bass-heavy music, and the quick cuts to various supporting characters and little scenes tease rather than spoil (there's not a Doomsday in sight). I really don't get why they didn't lead with this one - it sells the movie better than anything else. There are a couple of questionable moments. In particular, the big action set pieces look overly CGI'd (see Wonder Woman lunging into battle), which was a similar issue with Man Of Steel, although if the reasonings behind the fighting is justified, that might not be an issue. I'm not saying I've changed my thoughts on the movie, but for the first time I'm writing about some new Batman V Superman footage and it's not with exhausted cynicism. That's gotta count for something. Check the trailer out below and let us know what you thought down in the comments. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cle_rKBpZ28 Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice is in cinemas from 25th March.
