The internet exploded on Friday, literally exploded and out of the debris crawled the Batman Vs Superman trolls. Why the sudden controversy? Was Ben Affleck cast as Superman as well as Batman? Well, not quite. Instead, Warner Bros. announced Mark Zuckerb... Jesse Eisenberg has been cast in the upcoming blockbuster as Lex Luthor, Superman's arch nemesis. The fanboy reaction has been extremely mixed, ranging from positively gushing to angrily resentful to just plain meh, but at the end of the day, no one knows what will really come of this unusual casting choice until 2019, when the film will be finally released after its 39th delay. I for one am extremely dubious about this recent development. Does Eisenberg have what it takes to face off against Superman and Batman? I doubt it.
