3. Eisenberg Is Not Bryan Cranston

Bryan Cranston

This may come as a shock to some of you, but the internet doesn’t always tell the truth. As soon as Batman Vs Superman was first announced, hordes of fans and journalists claimed that man of the moment Bryan Cranston was in the running for the coveted role of Lex Luthor. This made perfect sense as Cranston proved in the Emmy Award winning show Breaking Bad that he could convince as a man of dubious morals with the charisma and dark screen presence that the role requires. Also, he’s bald.

Unfortunately, when Warner Bros. announced Eisenberg had been cast in the role, the majority of fanboys everywhere heaved a huge sigh of disappointment. Cranston fits the bill in every way, so many fans saw his eventual casting as a given. Eisenberg now has a lot to prove in a role many assumed had already been reserved for someone else. From the moment his casting made the headlines, Eisenberg was fighting a losing battle. Damn you Cranston! You would have been so awesome!
