Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice Teaser Trailer Leaks Online
Grainy, atmospheric, brilliant.
As Comic Con continues to give fans exactly what they want in San Diego, arguably the biggest film on show at the con has seen its first footage screened, with a typically explosive reaction from the audience.
We'd already been gifted the first look at Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman from Hall H, and now thanks to someone with as morals as questionable as their clandestine camera skills, we have a look at the brief, pulse-elevating teaser footage that was shown. Yes it's poor quality, yes it's from a terrible angle, and yes it will inevitably be hit with a takedown notice quicker than any evaluation of it will take, but it's available now, and it offers a tantalising look at what we can expect from the first official footage releases.
The footage opens on a rooftop as Batman takes the cover off the bat signal and lights it into the sky through a torrent of rain; lightning reveals Superman floating in the sky above him, eyes glowing red. The pair face off as the atmosphere builds to breaking point, Superman's red eyes met by Batman's white glowing ones, and that's about it. Brief, but spectacular.
It can only be a matter of time before the Hi-Res clip of the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice footage hits the net, though the movie studios out at San Diego are still days behind their TV counterparts, who seem more tuned in with audience desires to see the footage released to the Web immediately after they break at the con. Okay, so it's protecting the magic of Comic Con, but leaving hours after release is enough to give those in attendance all the geek gloating they need, rather than days.
Anyway, all grumbling aside, watch the teaser before it is inevitably taken down...
