Ben Stiller is probably one of the most successful players in modern comedy. His filmography represents a hell of legacy, especially in terms of dosh earned to line Hollywood pockets. For that reason, it’s unlikely that he’s going anywhere.
Comedy is in Stiller’s blood; with a father like comedy legend Jerry Stiller in his corner, it’s little surprise that he landed himself in the enviable position of being one of Hollywood’s highest earning comedians. But it’s not as though he was gifted the role– Stiller’s filmography is packed to bursting and dates back to the mid 80’s.
Of course, he’s not always sheer class – far from it. Stiller, just like most actors of his ilk, has made some questionable decisions, attached himself to some questionable movies and ultimately, has had as many misfires as he has successes. That said, when he hits, he hits big both in terms of critical reception and box-office success.
With his newest vehicle, The Watch, being released today in the UK, we decided it was about time we took a look back at Stiller’s roster of performances to date, and sort out the awesome from the awful.
Let’s roll up our sleeves and get right to it, eh?

Where is tony perkis from heavyweights, and white goodman from dodgeball as best performances.
White Goodman from Dodgeball has to be top 3 of all time for Stiller. Sheer awesomeness aided by a fantastic script.
I didn’t really Dodgeball too much but Stiller was brilliant in it
What about Mystery Men? A highly underrated Stiller comedy in my mind.
While not a starring role, his cameo in Happy Gilmore still manages to crack me up.
