Black Panther Reviews: Best Villain, Best MCU Movie Yet

Safe to say it lives up to the hype...

Black Panther Best Ever
Marvel Studios/Twitter

With Black Panther set to debut in cinemas in a matter of weeks, the world premiere has just happened with some of film press' finest in attendance for what looked like a stunning red carpet event.

And while the full reviews of Ryan Coogler's new addition to the MCU won't be out there for a little while, those in attendance have been allowed to reveal their initial reactions on social media, and it will all be music to Marvel's ears.

There's lots of hyperbole in there - as ever - but without the usual "it's good BUT..." comments, it genuinely does like Black Panther is a big winner. And we should maybe start listening to the critics calling it the best MCU movie yet...

No doubt to the delight of fans, word is that Michael B Jordan's Erik Killmonger is also one of the best MCU villains to date too: he's complex, sympathetic and brilliant, and his performance continues the claim that he and Ryan Coogler are a duo to be reckoned with.

All-in-all, it sounds like the film really lives up to expectations.
