Bruce Willis: 5 Awesome Performances and 5 That Sucked

Bruce Willis is perhaps one of the most well know action stars of all time. If you were a child of the late 80€™s/ early 90€™s as I was, then you€™ll have most likely grown up knowing him as nothing short of a bonafide household name. And even today, he€™s still there, at least for the time being. Willis began his career in the early eighties, and for years didn€™t have much success. His first handful of roles were largely uncredited; his first major role, in Blind Date, was poorly received, but clearly got him noticed; then came Die Hard, and well, the rest is history as they say. Bruce Willis shot to fame so fast that he lost a filling, and since then, you can scarcely go more than a few months at a time without hearing about the next Bruce Willis vehicle. Love him or hate him, Bruce Willis is big business and still sits today as the 23rd most bankable star working in Hollywood (source: Forbes). Famed for his hand in the action genre, Willis has also made several attempts to shirk the typecast, some successful and some not so much (we€™ll be getting into all of that soon enough). With news of a new Die Hard movie coming down the line in 2013, and with his very recent involvement with Looper, Rian Johnson€™s brand new time travelling sci-fi thriller, we thought it high time to run down five of Willis€™ most awesome performances, as well as five he rather wishes we€™d forget about. So without further ado, Yippee Ki Yay motherf***ers, let€™s get to it.
