Captain America: Civil War - 8 New Avengers Looks Ranked

The super costume department have been working hard.

Superheroes these days are like Oscar hosts, changing their outfits with every new segment, without ever really getting any new capabilities. Well, unless you're Iron Man, obviously. Even when Black Widow's new look was teased for Age Of Ultron, with special power lines that seemed to give her new skills, she never actually used them in the movie to any sort of impact. At least not at all memorably. So you might be forgiven for thinking that the new suits that will appear in Civil War - now all but confirmed - will be mostly just aesthetic choices. Even though at least two of the characters in question are tech-heavy and have genius inventors behind them, and one of them is worn by a tinkering scientist who likes to renovate and improve his suits every few months. There's no sign of Vision or Scarlet Witch in this round of concept art, though. Given that everyone else has gone through some sort of make-over, the smart money would be on a similar evolution for both of them (particularly Vision, who can literally make himself look however he pleases whenever he wants). Thanks to some new concept art, posted by ComicBookMovie, all of the Avenger's new looks, are now out in the wild. And there are some big differences for a couple of the team's members. Hold tight for reveals and analysis...

8. The Winter Soldier

Perhaps it's wrong to jeep calling him the Winter Soldier given that he's supposedly reformed, but as long as he keeps dressing like that, it's going to be hard for anyone to disassociate him from his past. Sort of like if a Nazi killing machine kept coming to work at his new job after the war wearing his uniform. It's pretty impressive how well Bucky pulls off the smoulder while superman punching at the same time. He's very clearly got issues.
