Chris Hemsworth Explains Which Marvel Movies Are Left On His Contract

And while he's at it, he speaks on Chris Evans' behalf too.

During the American leg of the Avengers: Age of Ultron press tour, Collider seem to have secured sit-down time with just about everybody involved with the film in any capacity. These being short video interview sessions there won't have been much time to get into the real meat, but Collider are still cutting them up into headline-ready soundbites as the days go by. In the latest, Chris Hemsworth answers the question of how many Marvel movies he has left on his contract, before answering on Chris Evans' behalf too. The answer he gives for Evans, however, is contrary to previous information: this time last year, Evans made it clear that he'd signed on for six movies. That would not get him through both parts of the Infinity War. Please enable Javascript to watch this video Hemsworth's answer that he'll be doing Thor 3 and both parts of the Avengers 3 is interesting enough, but I was struck more by Evans laughing at the notion that, after Marvel, there won't be anything else he could do. This man doesn't seem to be too keen to sign back up, so I'm feeling pretty confident that they'll kill his character off, and very possibly instigate Bucky Barnes as a new Captain America, the way it went down in the comics. When? How about in The Infinity Wars? Seems like a good bet to me. Killing Captain America would be a lovely way to round out the first chapter, I think. It's nothing personal, Steve. The Avengers: Age of Ultron is in UK cinemas on April 23rd but the US will be waiting until May 1st.
