COWBOYS & ALIENS trailer is what the title suggests

Updated with my brief thoughts Yeah I like this trailer... it's only a glimpse at what Jon Favreau has in store for us next year and there's less money shots in this than you saw in both the Your Highness and Green Lantern trailers but that's precisely what a teaser should be. And you can consider my interest levels well and truly tickled. Favreau looks like he has managed to take the rather hoaky concept and make it feel organic and workable. This isn't the tongue-in-cheek stuff that Jonah Hex was sprouting last year or the movie Robert Downey Jr would have delivered if he was the lead as originally envisioned. And this one has a Harrison Ford who by God looks interested and that's a major feather in Favreau's cap. If you hadn't told me this was one of his films, I might have said this was a Spielberg film. That's high compliments as far as I'm concerned. ORIGINAL ARTICLE FOLLOWS... I'm pressed for time so here's the trailer for Jon Favreau's sci-fi/western Cowboys & Aliens which is basically Close Encounters meets a Leone picture (though without the style and the wide landscapes) - with Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde. If nothing else, it is exactly what the title says it is. I'll write more later but I'm interested to hear your reactions in the mean time. Out of the mass amount of trailers for next year's movies we've had in the last 24 hours, where does this one rank?
