DC Movie Universe: 4 Ways Hawkman Could Be DC's Thor
Warner Bros shouldn't overlook Hawkman as a secondary character when crafting their cinematic universe.
A few weeks ago I wrote an article outlining the four ways DC could use a second-tier character like Booster Gold to capture the same success Marvel Studios found with Iron Man (who, before becoming the box office juggernaut he is now, was a second-tier character himself). As DC and Warner Bros. slowly move forward with crafting a shared movie universe of their own, they'll have to decide which characters to bring to life, and though we can easily guess which Justice League staples will undoubtedly appear on screen (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern), I'd like to take a look at the less-conventional choices. Hawkman is one such choice, a character that has been around for a long time but seems to be a bit of a joke in the minds of casual audiences who may not be familiar with what makes him such a great character. I'd argue that though someone like Wonder Woman or Aquaman could easily be adapted the same way Marvel brought Thor to life, Hawkman could be given the same treatment. If done right, he could be a great character to see on the big screen and could easily headline a franchise of his own. So, without further ado, here are four ways Hawkman could be DC's Thor...
