Death Race gearing up as a prison movie?
Actor Ian McShane claims that the whole movie is set inside a prison.
Paul W.S. Anderson has no idea what he is doing as a film-maker I'm afraid to say. Not a clue. His movies feel like they are made by a film fan but not by someone who actually has any talent... if you know what I'm saying. He makes the kind of movies that the average two to three time a month cinema going guy would make. Tons of cliches, tons of stealing from other movies, tons of the cardboard cut out characters and plots which are as basic as they come. Want proof he has no idea what he is doing? Listen to these comments from actor Ian McShane in an interview with Empire Online where he explains some of what Anderson's new take on his Death Race remake... What? The original movie was so good at creating the feeling of the wide opened spaces and the feeling of the open road. Doesn't setting the movie in a prison not counter all that?
