The two comedy greats that are
Eddie Murphy and
Chris Rock are set to star together in the currently untitled heist drama to be helmed by
Brett Ratner. The idea of the film, which was pitched by Murphy himself, see's two caretakers in New York who try to rob the rich tenants of Trump Tower.

Rusell Gewirtz is working on a new draft of the script, which he described to
LA Times as
"an unsuccessful, oh-so-last-millennium high-tech heist that is pointedly juxtaposed against the decidedly low-tech but no less artful plot of a couple of blue-collar guys with much more to gain and more believable motives". Ok so their is no mention of comedy elements in Ratner's quote but surely that's the direction they are going in....right? Surely? Otherwise why cast Murphy and Rock, don't waste their comedic talents Ratner, that's why we like them not for their serious thriller acting ability! source -
