Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer trailer

5301poster.jpgIn terms of the story and the feel of the "end of the world" that this trailer tries to generate, I think it succeeds greatly. Where it falls down is the painful attemps at humour and one-liners, especially the very last thing in the trailer which is just horrible. Aside from the bad attempts at humour (the switching powers thing looks ridicolous), Ioan Gruffudd and Jessica Alba have ZERO chemistry which also doesn't help. Neither of them belong in this movie. Apart from that though, the visuals are stunning and the story doesn't seem half bad. I get an epic feel from the trailer and it's won me over far more than the commercials for the first movie did, which is actually quite remarkable because I had only the trailer to go on for the first movie, but for this sequel I already know how much the first film sucked but incredibly I still wanna see this.

The Silver Surfer is really starting to grow on me too. The movie is out in 2 weeks time, are you going to see it? source - coming soon
