First Behind-The-Scenes Photos From Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2!

The gang's (almost) all here...

James Gunn, who seemingly has an addiction to social media - and we love him for that - has shared some behind-the-scenes pics now that rehearsals are getting underway for Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2. Absent, of course, are Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper, as they merely provide the voices for Groot and Rocket respectively. James Gunn's brother Sean provides all the motion capture stuff, and you can see him in the images below.
What was awesome about the first Guardians movie was how easy the chemistry was between the titular heroes. They clearly all get along off-screen as well, and the enthusiasm is infectious. That said, I do think it's a shame that Cooper and Diesel don't turn up on set to do their own mo-cap work; but then I suppose that means Marvel would probably have to pay them more (and we've all heard how notoriously cheap they are) and Sean Gunn would be out of a job. Also glimpsed in the rehearsal space is the great Michael Rooker. Who knows, considering the fact he helped our heroes out the last go round, he may actually be signing up with the Guardians this time out. Take a look at his perennially grumpy mug below.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is released on 5 May 2017.
