First Look at The Lizard From THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN As a Pez Dispenser

While not ideal, it does give us a sense of what the creature, whose human alter ego is played by Rhys Ifans, will look like.

With The Amazing Spider-Man hitting cinemas next year, actually some weeks before Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, it's surprising that we haven't seen much of the film's villain, the mainly CG The Lizard, save for an ill received show reel at this years San Diego Comic-Con when we have seen plenty, official and unofficial, of Tom Hardy's Bane. Now, thanks to SuperHero Hype, the public have their first look at the villain. In the form of a Pez Dispenser. Yes, seriously. While not ideal, it does give us a sense of what the creature, whose human alter ego is played by Rhys Ifans, will look like. While The Lizard will be a mix of CGI and practical effects, mainly for Ifans's transformations, many fans have attacked the characters look, which is being said to be a cross between Killer Croc, from Batman, and the Hulk. This is a far cry from his look in comics, that of an extremely lithe and agile man sized ......... well, lizard. The Amazing Spider-Man is released on July 3rd 2012, in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D and I imagine we are close to a full official look at Spidey's most animalistic foe yet.
