First 'Looper' Poster Revealed, This Years Inception?

The first poster for Rian Johnson's sci-fi action thriller 'Looper'

So it's a rather miserable Saturday, the weather is grey, my fragile mental state has left me in a circumstance where I'm now eating healthy and going to the gym (...eurgh), I don't know about you, but I'm definitely in the need for something to cheer my frail, hungry self up. Alas, here is that very thing to cheer me up. The first poster for Rian Johnson's sci-fi action thriller 'Looper', something which has got us particularly excited with Rian Johnson's already brilliant reputation bulging with promise and is setting up a film with the potential to be this years Inception. See the poster below: As you can quite clearly see, this film stars one of Hollywood's greats and one of Hollywood's soon to be greats in Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon Levitt; and if that's not enough to get your mouth watering, check out the /film official synopsis:

Time travel will be invented, but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they send their target 30 years into the past, where a €œlooper€€”a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt)€”is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good. . . until the day the mob decides to €œclose the loop,€ sending back Joe€™s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination. the film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and also stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels. Ram Bergman and James D. Stern produce.
...Wow. The poster is simple, yet effective. Quite bluntly stating the idea of the narrative with the flipped photos and clashing taglines 'Hunted by your future', 'Haunted by your past'...Juicy. My only gripes with the poster is the rather excessive amount of photoshop used on JGL to make him look more like Bruce Willis, just in case people didn't get the fact these two were supposed to be connected. Also the image of Bruce Willis looks like any old recycled photo of Bruce Willis...I'm not sure if that's a comment on his range of facial expressions or just lazy poster making. But if this is not enough to brighten up your Saturday, A. Your insane, and B. Don't worry, because /film also reveal that the first teaser trailer, which was aired at WonderCon a few weeks back is going to be released on the the 12th of April. Happy Saturday WhatCulture!
