Guardians Of The Galaxy Trailer: 5 Reasons Why We're Gonna Love Rocket Raccoon

We very much like what we have seen so far!

As we showed you earlier, the first full Guardians of the Galaxy trailer has been released - and it looks incredible. See for yourself above. One of the things that the majority of people waiting for this movie are excited about is Rocket Raccoon (and the thought of seeing him interacting with the likes of Tony Stark in future movies is hilarious). Rocket Raccoon is an intelligent anthropomorphic raccoon who, in the comics at least, is a master tactician and field commander and an expert marksman. So, despite his miniature and furry frame, he is one hell of a force to be reckoned with. In this movie, he will be voiced by American Hustle and The Hangover's Bradley Cooper and, although the trailer didn't actually let us hear Rocket speaking, that's still one thing that some people are unsure about. However, what was shown in the trailer made the little fellow look fantastic and, in this article, we're going to take a look at why we're going to love him based on what we've seen so far. Here are five reasons why we're going to love Rocket Raccoon in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie (which is released in August of this year)...

5. He's Cute!

When all's said and done, Rocket is a cute little raccoon! Everyone loves cute-looking things. Look at him there, in his little criminal line-up, having been arrested for arson, escape from incarceration, mercenary activity and vehicular theft, begging for a hug! Kids are going to love him because, despite the fact that he's an intergalactic mercenary, he's still furry with whiskers and a cute little nose. Assuming he becomes as popular as we all expect him to become (think Tony Stark or Loki levels of popularity), stuffed cuddly toys of the character are going to shoot off the shelves of toy stores around the world like hot cakes. And his appearance in this movie will no doubt result in a massive increase in kids around the world wanting a raccoon as a pet (so they can arm it with guns and set it on next door's cat).
