Hans Zimmer’s The Dark Knight Rises Prologue Score Re-Created

With the severe lack of true 70mm IMAX cinema screens in the UK, I haven’t yet seen The Dark Knight Rises prologue, so obviously I’ve yet to hear what I’ve been told is a truly epic and amazing Hans Zimmer score the sequence plays with. Having bought both of the Hans Zimmer soundtracks for the last two Batman movies and also his score for Nolan’s Inception, I obviously don’t doubt this and I can’t actually wait to hear what he has come up with this time when I get to see the film in the summer.

In the mean time though, Teddy Blass of Nolan Fans has re-created Hans Zimmer’s prologue score, and I’ll be damned if it doesn’t sound exactly like something Zimmer would come up with. This is as probably as close as I will get to hearing the actual score until we get really close to The Dark Knight Rises release on July 20th. From what I’m told this is damn well close to the final thing.

Listen to it below;

The Dark Knight Rises opens July 20th, 2012.
