Hayden Christensen is not SUPERMAN

Better the devil we don't know for JLA.

Thanks to Hellen for pointing this story out to us. Not to get on the back of one of my peers, I like Josh Tyler and his Cinema Blend is a daily read but I'm really surprised he went ahead and posted this story on his website today. I've never read a story that carried as much as bullshit from it's source than this one! But wait... this was the same site that ran the story that Scott Porter was Superman back in November. Again I'm not looking for an argument or anything, I'm just telling everyone out there that they shouldn't get carried away with this false story of Hayden Christensen being Superman.

This is what a reader of CB sent him about a chance meeting he had with Adam Brody (The Flash) in a Canadian bar about the JLA movie...
"George is our director". He said he's playing The Flash, Common is playing Green Arrow (or Lantern, one or the other), Armie Hammer (sounded like Arm and Hammer) is Batman, someone from "mad max" is Martian Man-hunter (didn't catch the name) and Hayden Christensen is Superman. Brody also nodded to the woman to his right and said "she (he said her name but i didnt catch it) is in it too". Oh, and they had lots of drinks.€
RIGHT. Of course... yeah. So one of WB's biggest projects they have right now and one of it's stars is just going to let that cat out of the bag. Mmmm. Have you seen how nervous the Star Trek guys were when they attended the Cloverfield premiere in January? Paramount and Abrams had those guys trained, if they said ANYTHING a sniper would have shot a bullet cleanly through their head. There is just no way in hell that Brody would be stupid enough to give away something like that. And let's carry on.... George Miller would not be stupid enough to cast Hayden Christensen with his acting reputation the way it is now. He isn't as much disliked but absolutely HATED by many. George Miller said he wanted to cast unknowns (and has done) so they could grow into their suits and be a franchise player known as this character for years to come. That means you don't go and cast frikkin' Darth Vader and a guy who has just led a massive sci-fi movie for Fox. And in the event they had changed their minds on the star power stance, they would have actually signed a star. Christensen has NO STAR POWER. Unless things have changed, D.J. Cotrona is Superman and although the actors were let go many weeks back, I expect 80% of the original cast to stay locked solid on this thing. Let's not post idol rumors shall we, I think this project has seen enough of those at this point.
