Moviegoers last week were demanding that The Dark Knight Rises featured a cameo appearance from the late Heath Ledger’s villain The Joker!
Batman fans everywhere aren’t concerned about the logistics of it or how difficult it might be for Christopher Nolan to include a scene featuring Ledger’s Clown Prince of Crime but they are unanimous in their demand for it to happen! They have warned mega studio Warner Bros over the storm that will hit if they don’t include a revival of the Oscar winning portrayal of Ledger’s Joker.
Boston local Sean Barksdale, 32, said;
“I don’t want to sit here and have an argument about who’s alive or who’s dead, because, quite frankly, I don’t care,” . ”This is what I want: I want an original scene with original dialogue that features Christian Bale as Batman and Heath Ledger as Joker. And it has to be the real Heath Ledger, too, not someone doing a Heath Ledger impression or I swear to God I’m asking for my money back.”
“It can’t be some deleted scene from the last movie, either,” Barksdale added. ”That doesn’t count.”
No of course this isn’t true but just some of the hilarity in the latest joke post from The Onion Network! You can read the whole article HERE.
Really, really funny piece and with a great pinch of true about a large portion of the Batman audience and there theories and desires for Heath Ledger’s version of The Joker to appear in the forthcoming Batman movie.

I hope that The Dark Knight Rises will be so good it doesn’t even need the (Heath Ledger) Joker.
I agree. I hope the movie is so good it doesn’t need it. Personally I think its a bit tacky…
For a minute, Matt, I thought you’d gone insane posting an article up from the Onion as a legitimate fact. I breathed a sigh of relief when you added that you were in on the joke(r).
im not even gonna leave a comment!
How u gonna say ur not going to leave a comment but leave a comment? tard…
Thank god you announced this was a joke. My blood pressure was at it’s max capacity by the third line in.
funny and Heath Ledger shouldn’t go together
The Brothers Grimm was pretty funny.
Not a good idea. It would just be very sad and a big distraction to the pace of this film.
My blood pressure was about to explode til I saw this was a joke lol
This Barksdale person is being an idiot. This quotation reminds me of a child who’s frustrated at his parents for not being able to make it stop storming; or make the traffic jam move faster. (Similarly, this also reminds me of William Shatner throwing a hissy fit over not being included in the new Star Trek film.)
Ledger is dead, and his characters live only though the films he has made. Expecting filmmakers to do some sort of comprehensive digital resurrection of Ledger’s Joker is stupid; especially if you’re making your enjoyment of the new film contingent on this cameo alone.
The new movie looks to have a very different villain, as well as a different overall aesthetic than the Dark Knight; and it will probably be about as awesome as the first two films.
Argh!
… I should have read the whole thing. This isn’t the first time I’ve mistaken an Onion article for real life.
Silly me.
Lol! Gotcha!
Dude that Barksdale character is extremely rude besides being a total loser at 32 years old. Get a life loser.
Some people are just too thick for words. Yes, I’m talking about you Zac and raz. This is a SPOOF. Sean Barksdale probably doesn’t even exist and if he does he’s in on the joke. The quotes are satirical. Do you not understand sarcasm?
kinda funny TDKR started out w/Matthew Modine playing as Foley & his most famous role that I know him for is Private “Joker” from “Full Metal Jacket”. Took it as a nod to not look so hard for Joker references.
