Interstellar Trailer 2 - Watch It Here!

Based on McConaughey's refiguring of Murphy's Law - whatever can happen, will happen - this film is gonna be awesome.

There's been a lot of talk about Interstellar, Christopher Nolan's long-awaited follow-up to The Dark Knight Rises, but none of it from the man himself. Or from anyone else - production's been locked down tighter than Bane's breathing apparatus - so this first trailer for the film is pretty darn exciting. All knew previously was the cast (McConaughey! Hathaway! Chastain! Caine!), that the film involved wormholes, and it definitely wasn't a live-action remake of Daft Punk musical Interstellar 5555. Now we know...quite a lot! McConaughey is in full Oscar-winning bug-eyed mode, carting around a post-or possibly pre-apocalyptic Earth, until he gets recruited by Caine's beardy scientist. "Nothing in our solar system can help us," the former Alfred dourly informs McConaughey (and us). The solution? Look for somewhere nicer to move. Say, another dimension...? Watch the trailer for yourselves below; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejqPKdEFIW8&feature=youtu.be I get the feeling the meat of the film will come in those brief shots we got of McConaughey, Hathaway and friends being fired off into the unknown in a great bloody rocket, but it also looks like Nolan's been listening to his critics: his films tend to be big on ideas, spectacle and intricate plotting, but stumble when it comes to emotion (all the sobbing in The Dark Knight Rises doesn't count). McConaughey's character seems as much fuelled by a desire to save his kids as, well, saving the rest of humanity. Based on McConaughey's refiguring of Murphy's Law - whatever can happen, will happen - this film is gonna be awesome.
