Is Henry Cavill Teasing Superman's Iconic Black Justice League Costume?

Either Henry Cavill is giving us all a look at Superman's new post-death black costume, or he's just had some lovely new wrought iron gates made.

The Man Of Steel actor - who was, of course, killed off in his not-so-mighty battle with Doomsday at the end of Batman v Superman - has taken to his social media accounts to show a mysterious slither of decidedly Kryptonian material.

Obviously, it's no spoiler at this stage to say that Superman is coming back - Zack Snyder couldn't actually wait to show that much off at the end of Dawn Of Justice - and it does seem he'll be coming back as the long haired, black-suited bad-ass from his comic book revival.

The first official Justice League shot actually showed Cavill in "normal" Superman garb, but this tease seems to suggest we're actually going to see the look that inspired Nic Cage's look in Superman Lives. Hopefully, this doesn't mean he's going to just be emo Superman and we actually get to see him as a more complex, multi-dimensional character.

Unfortunately, that might require an entirely different director. Cheap shot? Who cares.
