James Bond 24: 10 Actors Who Should Play The Villain

Benedict Cumberbatch With the astounding success that met Skyfall (what did we expect from a mind like Sam Mendes?) the pressure is on for Bond 24, which he is probably going to direct. John Logan is going to write, using characters from Ian Fleming€™s mind. Rumours are that M€™s daughter will be introduced, the same M whose name was recently revealed to be Olivia Mansfield. Will Logan invent a character or use one past, I hope invent, because it€™s time to re-invent, like Skyfall did. And look how well that did. Skyfall brought with it a streak of modernity, and with that streak comes a barrage of possibilities: technology, global terrorism and political drama to name a few. The actors I have chosen might be cliché, they might even be "totally out there" but no matter, my own opinion is my own and that's good enough for me. Take a moment on each actor to think about them face-to-face with Bond and Mallory. I have not thought about ideas for major storylines regarding each character, but I have given them type of villain roles, which I may or may not like. So here we go:

10. Robert De Niro

Robert De Niro is one of the most enduring actors of his time, having declined slightly into family films. But his gangster days remain indented in our minds; imagine him at the precipice of a criminal organization which involves itself in a battle with MI6 and Bond. I don't think Bobby could play anything but a Gangster, but a damn good gangster he'd be. Type of Villain: Criminal Leader/Major Gangster

I like Stanley Kubrick, Gore Vidal & Daniel Day-Lewis. I do not like the United States, Obama and most other Presidents.
