Jennifer Aniston finds out that He's Just Not That Into You

He's Just Not That Into You has come up a few times over the last couple of weeks but not once have I ever mentioned it on Obsessed With Film and neither has any of my writers. Is it because it sounds like crap and comes from the director who brought us License to Wed and The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants? - most likely! However the truth is with this latest bit of casting, I should really no longer ignore this flick. The Hollywood Reporter say Jennifer Aniston is in final talks to star in the ensemble comedy which already has Jennifer Connelly, Drew Barrymore (she is also producing), Bradley Cooper, Kevin Connolly and a little reunion from the awesome but now defunct 'dramedy' Ed, with Justin Long and Ginnifer Goodwin. The movie is based on a best selling book which is said to be a social commentary about modern-day relationships and how men and women often confuse signals from the opposite sex. Two writers who worked on Sex and the City wrote the book however the script has been adapted by Barrymore for the big screen. Well, what can we say? A really impressive cast here so you have to believe there is some good material in this script. Aniston might whore herself out to any comedy flick but not Jennifer Connelly. Maybe they are sitting on a winner here and Universal must really believe they are because I'll tell ya... Aniston and these other thesps won't come cheap. They must expect to win it back.
