Is it wrong for me to post this? Probably, but you know someone was going to do it sooner rather than later.
With so many of you seeing Transformers over the last 48 hours or so, it was inevitable that this mysterious teaser for the J.J. Abrams produced Cloverfield was going to leak online.
So after much talk, everyone can finally see what all the fuss is about. The general word I’ve received on the movie is that it’s an alien “Parasite” which invades New York but many people have speculated it to be a “Godzilla” type monster movie. Hell, even a talkbacker on this very site claimed that the trailer could very well have some connection to Lost.

Looks great, looking forward to seeing this. I have to say though that seeing this trailer, I couldn’t help but think that wouldn’t it be great if this was actually a superhero flick told from the perspective of the onlookers. I mean you have this gigantic monster attacking the city and then all of a sudden you look up and you see a slew of heroes flying towards it. Keeping the shakey cam docu look I think it would make a fantastic film. What do people think?
Yeah pretty cool idea and cinematically it would work well for a short while but I have to wonder if it could sustain for a whole flick?
