Josh Lucas & Adam Brody find Death in Love

Remember the Titans director Boaz Yakin is currently filming this New York drama right now for a 2008 release.

Josh Lucas would have made a fine Harvey Dent. I actually believe he would have been better suited to the role than Aaron Eckhart, mainly because Lucas has that superb likability factor which would have worked so well in the early stages of Dent's development. But, it wasn't my call and Eckhart will do a great job with it I'm sure. The Hollywood Reporter say that Lucas has signed up to Boaz Yakin's movie Death in Love, a drama that is currently being filmed in New York from Yakin's own script. Adam Brody from The O.C. is also on board, along with the already cast Lukas Haas and Jacqueline Bisset...

"Death" follows a pair of story lines that revolve around two brothers (Lucas and Haas). While Haas' character must deal with his mother (Bisset), his brother is lost in life until he is befriended by a scam artist (Brody).
Yakin, is the director responsible for Remember the Titans ($136 million worldwide) and a movie which I most definitely did not see and Uptown Girls (unbelievably $44 million worldwide) starring Brittany Murphy and Dakota Fanning. Though that taking was 83% from a U.S. audience, with only $7 million coming in from the rest of the world, showing that you guys in the States clearly have no taste!
