Justice League: 10 Things That Have Threatened To Ruin The Hype

10. Jason Momoa's "Joke"

It may have happened all the way back in 2011, but a joke made in bad taste at Comic Con has come back to bite Jason Momoa - and Warner Bros - in the backside, with the world of film rocked by wider sexual assault scandal.

At the time, he explained why he enjoyed playing Khal Drogo on Game Of Thrones:

“As far as sci-fi and fantasy, I love that genre because there are so many things you can do, like rip someone’s tongue out of their throat and get away with it and rape beautiful women."

To say it's another unwanted dent in the Justice League marketing campaign is a slight understatement, and the reaction online - while slightly belated - was as inevitable as it is justified. It was a stupid, dangerous thing to say, and while he's apologised for it already in the past, it's the kind of thing that tends to come back around every now and then.

For what it's worth, Momoa apologised (again) after the controversy blew up once more...
