9. Metamorpho (Rex Mason)
While J'onn J'onzz (The Martian Manhunter) may be the League's requisite shapeshifter, he doesn't hold a candle to the awesome absurdity that is Metamorpho. After Rex Mason was exposed to a strange meteor that emanated "turn you into superhero" waves, he became the multi-color crimefighter, Metamorpho. Able to change his body into any form he chooses (solid, liquid or gas), Metamorpho seems like one of the many obvious heroes with movie spectacle written in his DNA. But, just look at his design. Far too gaudy for a big budget blockbuster (but just wonderfully gaudy enough for a comic book), Metamorpho is just too weird for the average movie-goer to get a handle on. Guess he'll have to try for a stint on TV. Which brings up my next entry...
