Kate Hudson picks Bachelor No. 2

sgg-017693.jpgKate Hudson will star opposite Dane Cook in the comedy movie Bachelor No. 2 for Lionsgate. Veteran director Howard Deutch (Pretty in Pink, The Whole Ten Yards) will start lensing the flick in August.
From a script by Jordan B. Cahan, storyline revolves around a man who is hired by men who have been dumped to take their ex-girlfriends out on nightmare dates, thereby convincing the women to return to their boyfriends. But trouble arises when Cook's character is hired to take out the ex-girlfriend of his best pal.
Sounds awful doesn't it but then again it's not made for me. This flick is for the You, Me and Dupree crowd, which I'm quite happy to say is about as far removed as possible from the material I enjoy watching. Hudson has just completed shooting her role for the upcoming treasure hunt movie Fool's Gold with Matthew McConaughey for Hitch director Andy Tennant, which actually has potential if it can avoid the pitfalls of Sahara a while back. source - variety
