Lex Luthor Joins Twitter And Bares All In New Interview

Batman V Superman's viral marketing campaign begins.

For years people have been wanting to know more about inspirational business tycoon Alexander "Lex" Luthor Jr. What makes the 31 year-old CEO of LexCorp tick? Does he feel he's just living in the shadow of his father? How does he cope with the competition from irritating playboy Bruce Wayne? And what of those wig rumours? Well, the billionaire has bore all in an interview with Fortune where he discusses all of the above (except the balding issue, which remains a subject for the tabloids) and has joined Twitter to promote the piece. In the article, he goes on to talk about how "...there are a lot of threats out there, and they€™re here today." He's talking about LexCorp's products, but could that be a veiled jab at Superman, the "hero" who decimated Metropolis a few years back? Maybe the young genius is sowing to seeds for involvement in the political spectrum. https://twitter.com/alexanderluthor/status/651093266926952448 Of course, this is all part of Batman V Superman's viral marketing campaign, which looks to be attempting to shed some light on one of the more controversial elements of a pretty controversial movie - Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor. It's a cool little article, gamely hosted by Fortune, and is all pretty effective. I've not been shy about my issues with Dawn Of Justice in the past, but I must say this whole idea is pretty great. There's also a reference in there to Kord Industries (which is in the comics owned by Ted Kord, otherwise known as Blue Beetle) so this article also offers the first bit of Batman V Superman foreshadowing). Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice is in cinemas from 16th March, 2016.
