With Age Of Ultron now unleashed, Marvel Studios has yet again proven that they're on top of the world. From film to television, the MCU's ongoing expansion seems unlikely to topple anytime soon, with characters including Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Black Panther, Captain Marvel and, of course, Spider-Man all ready to be introduced along the road to Infinity War.

Though the future looks bright, the journey so far has been one exciting ride. Having kicked off in 2008 with the one-two punch of Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk, the MCU is now 11 movies deep, with Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter and Netflix's Daredevil keeping the ball rolling for fans on the small screen.

Across it all, many heroes, villains and innocent people have lost their lives, some in the pursuit of doing the right thing, others as a reward for doing the wrong thing. With death still looming over the end of the latest Avengers and the inevitability of more to come, let's take a look at 50 of the best deaths the MCU has had to offer yet, excluding those that have been relayed entirely through off-screen events (like Howard Stark) or fates left thoroughly ambiguous (like Red Skull).

Be warned: This article contains massive spoilers for every corner of the MCU so far.

Died In: Agent Carter

During Peggy's adventure with her SSR squad and the Howling Commandos in The Iron Ceiling, the group came across a young girl who had grown up a part of the Red Room, the same assassin-spawning Soviet program that would later churn out Natasha Romanoff.

Believing her to be innocent, alone and afraid, Dum Dum Dugan tried to calm her down, only for the girl to shock them all by stabbing him, stealing his gun and shooting Juniper. She managed to escape as the young soldier was left to die surrounded by his comrades.
