Coming out of Avengers: Infinity War, it looked like we'd seen the last of Tom Hiddleston's Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, after he was strangled to death by Thanos in the opening minutes.
But fans of the slick-haired trickster needn't worry: even though he's waving goodbye to the big screen, Loki has found a new home on your closest streaming device.
More specifically, he'll be getting his own solo TV series on Disney Plus, the company's upcoming Netflix-like service that will house all of their film and TV content. It's expected to launch later this year, and as we get closer to that window, we're learning more and more about all the exciting stuff we'll be able to watch on it - including Loki's forthcoming episodic adventures.
Loki is right up there with the best characters in the MCU, so the fact that we're getting several more hours with him is great news. His ability to shape-shift and cause untold mayhem means that the show should feel fresh with each new episode, and everything we know about it so far definitely points to that being the case.
