Megan Fox & Zoe Saldana Are Planning A 'Swindle'

Two of Hollywood's most desired leading ladies teaming for an original action/heist thriller at Paramount.

Two of Hollywood's most desired ladies Megan Fox and Zoe Saldana recently approached veteran producer Michael De Luca (Moneyball) with the idea of teaming in a movie together. Thankfully he agreed (and seriously, how could he turn down Fox & Saldana's double team proposal)... Deadline reports that Fox & Saldana will co-lead the action/heist film "Swindle", based on a spec script by Enzo Mileti and Scott Wilson at Paramount. Saldana, who has become the genuine action heroine in cinema with Columbiana, The Losers and who apparently kicks more ass in the Star Trek sequel than she did last time around, has already proved she can open this kind of movie on her own but for Fox this is new territory. She is usually the eye candy damsel-in-distress so she's due some time wielding a gun. No story details yet and it's unclear when this one is planned to shoot. Saldana is busy with Star Trek 2 and has already lined up Guillaume Canet's Blood Ties as her next movie and is in talks for a notable role in Scott Cooper's thriller Out of the Furnace opposite Christian Bale and Casey Affleck, so it could well be after the summer this one goes into production. Indeed no director is even attached yet but we imagine De Luca will have plenty of takers given the two leading ladies involved. Fox meanwhile appears in The Dictator in May and has a supporting role in Judd Apatow's fourth directorial film This is 40 in December.
