Moon Knight Is Coming To The Marvel Cinematic Universe (RUMOUR)

Although not quite the way you think.

As Marvel works through its long list of superhero characters, bringing the B-, C- and even D-list to life (and working hard on requiring the top tier from other studios), predicting who the next hero to be introduced is becoming an ever-trickier job - just who is there left with a vague "I may have heard of them, once" recognition? One of the biggest names in the that regard not yet gifted his own project is is Moon Knight, a vigilante with powers imbued by an Egyptian god, and now it looks like that speculation is going to become reality (although not quite in the way you'd expect). According to Umberto Gonzalez, the rumour extraordinaire over at Heroic Hollywood, Marvel is actively planning to bring Moon Knight into the MCU fold, but as part of a Netflix-style TV series rather than a big-budget movie. It was only a matter of time before Marc Spector moved into the live-action world, and while many assumed it'd be on the big screen (probably as part of Phase 4), TV is actually a better home for him - like The Defenders (or Deadpool, in production as an R-rated movie over at Fox), Moon Knight is a character who would have to be intrinsically altered to work in the parameters of a PG-13, a restriction Netflix willingly subverts. Are you excited for a Moon Knight TV series? Or should Spector be realised on the big screen? Share your opinions down in the comments.
