My 007 movies were "really shit" says BOND actor Jesper Christensen!

So, Danish veteran Jesper Christensen, who played the recurring role of the villainous Mr. White in the last two James Bond movies has taken a bitter sounding swipe at the franchise that in all fairness - probably paid him quite well and gave him more exposure worldwide than ever before...

"Today, I admit that I regard and as really shit. All the people die in them, so two movies are enough for me."
Christensen's rant was picked up by Bond fansite M:16 and they apparently come after speaking to press at the Berlin Film Festival. We always promote the "say what you think" attitude among actors, but it's funny his comments come as he finds his character dead, and unlikely to return for the next movie. Dead you say? Yes he is. Though you haven't actually seen it happen yet. A deleted scene was cut from the finale of Quantum of Solace which had James Bond arrive at the home of Guy Haines, the corrupt advisor to the British PM and Mr. White€™s superior in the Quantum organisation. In the scene, Bond killed Mr. White in front of Haines and began to question him about who he worked for. The scene was cut because the idea with Bond 23 is to take the series in a new direction, and including such a scene would steer the course of the movie down a particular path. I would expect the Mr. White death to end up on a future QOS special edition DVD release - giving a pretty cool two movie a character, a sad - cutting room floor ending. I guess it's not as bad as when Peter Jackson cut Christopher Lee's Saurman death scene from the theatrical cut of The Return of the King - one of the strangest cutting room floor edits in recently memory.
Make sure you check out OWF's dedicated page to Bond 23 which is being lined up for Sam Mendes to direct this year.
