New Doctor Strange Poster Spotted In The Wild

Strange things are happening...

New Doc Strange Poster

The Sorceror Supreme might not hit cinema screens for a good few months yet, but he has already been spotted in the wilds of the cineplex.

Ahead of this week's Comic Con kick-off, a new Doctor Strange poster has turned up, as spotted by Twitter Marvelite @CooperMCUEx in a cinema. The image might only be low-quality, but it's a great shot of the newest addition to the MCU.

Comic Con is likely to reveal a lot about the film, as it takes centre stage as part of Marvel's presence at the event. Even if we won't get to see it, there's likely to be an event-only second trailer (or exclusive footage), that may then be released to the public shortly afterwards. Inevitably, some rascal will upload grainy footage of either or both of those, because that's what Comic Con seems to be all about these days.

Mads Mikkelsen has recently been teasing the film's "dark humour", which is somewhat unexpected (but in no way unwelcome), and it seems we can expect something a lot different to the usual MCU fare. With that, Guardians 2 and Thor: Ragnarok all coming in the next couple of years and all promising different tones, we'll hopefully see the evaporation of accusations that Marvel only has one setting.
