New Promo Art For THE AVENGERS

Spotted by Bleeding Cool yesterday, Marvel Comics have released a new promo image of the whole heroic cast from The Avengers as part of their advanced comics solicitations to bookstores and it could be an early glimpse as to what a future official poster for the actual film may look like. The image above is a promotional tool for the upcoming collection Road to the Avengers which will bring together all the movie tie-in related comics as the May 2012 release date moves closer on the ensemble film. Here's the official plot synopsis for the book;
