Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained Set Images Have Deadwood Feel!

Tarantino's "Southern-friend Western" is currently filming at Melody Ranch in Santa Clarita, the same place where Deadwood was shot.

Set images from Quentin Tarantino's currently filming Django Unchained have hit the web and for those fans of the long cancelled HBO series Deadwood, you might get a sense of deja vu. Actor Garrett Dillahunt, who played Francis Wolcott in the HBO series, recently visited the set of Tarantino's "Southern-fried Western" and tweeted a bunch of images. The first image is above and the rest we have collated below. The set is housed at the Melody Ranch in Santa Clarita, the same place where Deadwood was shot. Dillahunt also got quite an emotional reaction from seeing the set again;
€œctually kinda choked me up a little bit, always be #Deadwood to me.€
Other Hollywood productions and TV shows regularly use Melody Ranch to film scenes, including the shows Justified and True Blood. Django Unchained was previously filming out in Mammoth Lakes, CA and its next stop will be New Orleans, LA. The film will open Christmas Day 2012 and stars Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson, Kerry Washington, Kurt Russell, Sacha Baron Cohen and many, many more. source - collider
