Star Wars is known for being a family-friendly franchise but, despite the young audience, it also features a lot of death.
Over the course of 40+ years we've seen some major heroes and villains fall by the wayside, whether that's Obi-Wan Kenobi being cut down in the very first movie, Anakin Skywalker's redemptive death in Return of the Jedi, or Boba Fett being knocked by a temporarily blind Han Solo into the Sarlacc pit.
The saga, however, is much more than just those key figures. One of the joys of the universe is the sheer number of characters who appear, but how many actually get to make it out alive? A couple of quick rules: this is only based on official, Disney Star Wars canon, so the old EU/Legends is out, and if there isn't a confirmed death (on Databank or Wookieepedia) then we're going to say they lived.
