Robin Williams is WORLD'S GREATEST DAD

World's Greatest Dad for Richard Kelly's studio Darko Entertainment. American director Bob Goldthwait, who last helmed the 2006 comedy/drama Stay is helming. Williams will play Lance, a high school poetry teacher who finds his son dead after a freak masturbation accident and tries to cover up the shame by faking a suicide note, he claims was written by his son (Daryl Sabara). The note becomes such a literary sensation, Lance finds his passion for writing and begins to pen a personal journal which he also claims was scribed by his now deceased son. Despite being 25 years his junior, actress Alexie Gilmore will play a teacher with whom he has an affair with. To show you the strangeness of the situation, Gilmore has just filmed her part in Surfer Dude playing love interest to Matthew McConaughey. Still this sounds hilarious. Williams has never been more interesting than when he has played darker characters (Insomina, One Hour Photo) and this plot is genius. source - the hollywood reporter
