Spider-Man 3 or will it be able to stand on it's own feet, even if it is released in the middle of the two? Let's not forget Shrek is a massive money making franchise in it's own right. The last movie just fell short of the $1 billion mark by around $80 million. Still though, if I were the studio I might just be a little worried at this point because this month is uber cluttered with popular movies.
