Sony Pictures and MGM have launched a brand new trailer for the forthcoming 23rd James Bond movie, Skyfall. The trailer was launched at 2pm (GMT) as part of a global launch ahead of the release in the Autumn.
You can watch the trailer below at 2pm…
Skyfall is the twenty-third entry into the James Bond franchise and the first since 2008′s divisive Quantum of Solace. Nevertheless, the promise of director Sam Mendes (American Beauty), legendary cinematographer Roger Deakins (No C0untry for Old Men) and a returning Daniel Craig in the lead role means this could be a return to the slick form of Martin Campbell’s exceptional Casino Royale.
All eyes are on M (Judi Dench) this time around, after MI6′s active roster is leaked, leaving agents vulnerable and out in the open. Following an attack on MI6 itself, Bond springs into action, though finds himself questioning his line of work as an unexpected past is revealed. Javier Bardem plays principal villain Raoul Silva, Ralph Fiennes plays a government agent regulating MI6 named Mallory, Naomi Harris plays Eve – a character many have speculated to be Miss Moneypenny – and Ben Whishaw plays Q, marking his first appearance in the rebooted Bond canon.
Skyfall is released in the UK on October 26th, and in the US on November 9th.
