Spider-Man: Far From Home's New Costume Is PERFECT
Tom Holland's Peter Parker picks up ANOTHER suit as filming progresses.
Peter Parker will be suiting up in a number of different costumes in Far From Home, including the Stark suit seen in Homecoming and a black costume seemingly inspired by the Noir suit from the comics, but the most recent of which is by far the best looking one of the lot.
Revealed via set photos and videos taken late last week, this new Spider-Man costume is likely to be the one Peter wears towards the end of the film. It also, unsurprisingly, takes inspiration from a number of different sources, with the darker colour palette bearing the echo of Steve Ditko's iconic original Spider-Man design first seen in 1962, and the white spider emblazoned on the back having first been used in Insomniac's recent Spider-Man video game.
Others have noted a distinct similarity between it and the Superior Spider-man costume worn by an Otto Octavius-controlled Parker in the comics, but regardless, it's safe to say it looks fantastic. Set photos revealed by JustJared also confirm that the only major alterations to the Stark outfit are the colours and the rear Spider, with the front of the outfit retaining the smaller spider on the front and the expressive white eyes from Civil War.
Also returning in these images is Zendaya's MJ, who's joining Holland's Parker in what looks to be the exterior of Grand Central station. Of course, we've known for a while now that Spidey will be heading to Europe for a period of Far From Home's story, joined by Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury and Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio, but it was always a given he'd return to his familiar stomping grounds of New York.
