It's now just a matter of days before Peter Parker makes his big splash back with his real parents in the MCU. Early reactions suggest it's not only great, but that it works both as a John Hughes-influenced high school movie and also a superhero spectacle. And wouldn't you know it - after he threatened to steal the show in Civil War, Tom Holland has apparently cemented his position as the best ever movie Spider-Man.

Now isn't the time to sit back and idly wait for Homecoming to land in cinemas though: the hype has reached such an oppressive temperature (especially stoked by those reviews), and the marketing campaign is so intense that it's impossible to get away from the film, even if you're trying.
